Political Correctness is not always bad. It can be sort of a diplomatic tool that avoids offending people. It also takes into account some historic and current disadvantages faced by some members of the society.

But … it has now morphed into a tool for societal mind control, thought policing, censorship — including self-censorship — and Orwellian doublespeak. It has become a dangerous tool that has lobotomized a vast portion of the population who can’t think, debate, comprehend, accept or see blatant, in-your-freaking-face truths anymore.

The real beneficiaries of this twisted notion are the people at the very top of the power structure and the societal pyramid.
