How Rockefeller founded modern medicine and killed natural cures

<Check out my new book China, China, Chyyna: Greatest Disruption to American Century>

People these days look at you like a weirdo if you talk about the healing properties of plants or any other holistic practices. Much like anything else, there is a lot of politics and money behind our modern medical system.

It all starts with John D. Rockefeller (1839 – 1937) who was an oil magnate, a robber baron, America’s first billionaire, and a natural-born monopolist.

By the turn of the 20th century, he controlled 90% of all oil refineries in the U.S. through his oil company, Standard Oil, which was later on broken up to become Chevron, Exxon, Mobil etc.

Rockefeller Standard Oil

At the same time, around 1900, scientists discovered “petrochemicals” and the ability to create all kinds of chemicals from oil. For example, the first plastic — called Bakelite — was made from oil in 1907. Scientists were also discovering various vitamins and guessed that many pharmaceutical drugs could be made from oil.

This was a wonderful opportunity for Rockefeller who saw the ability to monopolize the oil, chemical and the medical industries at the same time!

The best thing about petrochemicals was that everything could be patented and sold for high profits.

But there was one problem with Rockefeller’s plan for the medical industry: natural/herbal medicines were very popular in America at that time. Almost half the doctors and medical colleges in the U.S. were practicing holistic medicine, using knowledge from Europe and Native Americans.

Rockefeller, the monopolist, had to figure out a way to get rid of his biggest competition. So he used the classic strategy of “problem-reaction-solution.” That is, create a problem and scare people, and then offer a (pre-planned) solution. (Similar to terrorism scare, followed by the “Patriot Act”).

He went to his buddy Andrew Carnegie – another plutocrat who made his money from monopolizing the steel industry – who devised a scheme. From the prestigious Carnegie Foundation, they sent a man named Abraham Flexner to travel around the country and report on the status of medical colleges and hospitals around the country.

This led to the Flexner Report, which gave birth to the modern medicine as we know it.

Needless to say, the report talked about the need for revamping and centralizing our medical institutions. Based on this report, more than half of all medical colleges were soon closed.

Homeopathy and natural medicines were mocked and demonized; and doctors were even jailed.

To help with the transition and to change the minds of other doctors and scientists, Rockefeller gave more than $100 million to colleges and hospitals, and founded a philanthropic front group called “General Education Board” (GEB). This is the classic carrot and stick approach.

In a very short time, medical colleges were all streamlined and homogenized. All the students were learning the same thing, and medicine was all about using patented drugs.

Scientists received huge grants to study how plants cured diseases, but their goal was to first identify which chemicals in the plant were effective, and then recreate a similar chemical –but not identical — in the lab that could be patented.

A pill for an ill became the mantra for modern medicine.

And you thought Koch brothers were evil?

So, now we are, 100 years later, churning out doctors who know nothing about the benefits of nutrition or herbs or any holistic practices. We have an entire society that is enslaved to corporations for its well-being.

America spends 15% of its GDP on healthcare, which should be really called “sick care.” It is focused not on cure, but only on symptoms, thus creating repeat customers. There is no cure for cancer, diabetes, autism, asthma, or even flu.

Why would there be real cures? This is a system founded by oligarchs and plutocrats, not by doctors.

As for cancer, oh yeah, the American Cancer Society was founded by none other than Rockefeller in 1913.

In this month of breast cancer awareness, it is sad to see people being brainwashed about chemotherapy, radiation and surgery.  That’s for another blog post … but here is a quote from John D. Rockefeller that summarizes his vision for America…

  1. Royal Raymond Ride was a genius and a humanitarian. He figured out how to cure cancer and most all deceases known to man. but it isn’t a medicine. And that’s why it was suppressed , and derailed by the AMA because the Rockefellers knew that it would bury them and their drugs. Rife figured out how to devitalize the deceases with frequencies. He proved it , and All the medical community through him a huge banquet party. And then, the director of the AMA called Rife to congratulate him , and told him that he could put his frequency machine in the journal of American medicine. With that offer , Rife declined , and explained that it had nothing to do with medicine , it had to do with curing people that were dieing. So , their plan ( the AMA’s and the Rockefellers), to prophet from Rife’s discovery didn’t work , they immedietly released a warning to all licensed Dr.’ s in the U.S., that if they were caught using the Rife frequency machine , they would emmediatly loose their license to practice medicine..

    1. Sounds very similar to the Coffee enema procedure Gina!! (Along with a strict plant and fruit based diet, it’s main ingredients being ‘Carrots’ and Green Apples – OBVIOUSLY with other foods – but I’ve not yet researched the whole/full system, but I definitely will be doing in the very near future! Start off withhttps://youtu.be/CyspD6Atsg8 this vid, it discusses the Gerson Therapy:

      1. Do you have any references or sources for some of the claims you make? I am interested to learn more. Specifically these:

“Homeopathy and natural medicines were mocked and demonized; and doctors were even jailed.” Never heard this before and curious to read about it!

“Scientists received huge grants to study how plants cured diseases, but their goal was to first identify which chemicals in the plant were effective, and then recreate a similar chemical – but not identical – in the lab that could be patented.”

We are always thought that to identify the specific chemical that acts is the one you want to use to treat patients, because you know exactly what you’re giving, without adding potential side effects from other substances/chemicals.

  3. I’ve been researching the U.S. Medical model for 12 years. This is spot on. A great piece!

The AMA was called out for artificially limiting doctor supply by Milton Friedman in the early 60’s. The annual med school graduates the AMA alliwed was 6200 that year. It spiked to I’ve 16,000 by ‘82. Then the AMA morphed into the ACGME so it could confuse the public and re- start it’s limiting doctor supply.

From ‘82-2009 as the US population exploded from 266 million to 305 million – with average lifespan increasing by over 4 years, effectively adding 13 million more people – 318 million, the AMA actually decreased the annual med school grad numbers to about 15,800.

The US census stated that the ratio of doctors per living patient hours went from about 180 to 270. I could go on and on. Don’t get me started on IMG docs, many of whom bought an MD without ever seeing the inside of a med school…

  4. Can you please give resources where I can verify this information? I’m really interested in this and I see blogs written about rockefeller but I don’t know where I can go to prove the things I’ve read online. I’d really appreciate it if you could send me links 🙂

    1. Inderjeet Parmar has written loads detailing the Rockefeller, Ford and Carnegie Foundation’s funding of higher education worldwide. He also painstakingly documents the “co-operation” between the Rockefeller funded CFR and RIIA up to and during WW2, which prepared the way for the “management” of the post-war peace by the UN, IMF, World Bank etc. Mira Wilkins, in The History of Foreign Investment in the United States, 1914–1945, details the Rockefeller’s funding eugenics and “marriage” to IG Farben (via American IG; a surprising amount of this can be pieced together even on Wikipedia), the pharma conglomerate that funded the Nazis. Ford and Rockefellers funded both sides in the war (when the truman Commission charged the Rockefellers with treason they effectively blackmailed the government to back off or they’d cut their supplies and hand Germany victory). So between these two sources, you can prove that the Rockefellers won the power to govern the peace, mandated by the war that they created. The ultimate cycle of problem-reaction-solution. Donald Fisher, “Rockefeller Philanthropy and the British Empire: The Creation of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine”, describes how the Rockefellers piggybacked on the British empire to establish a global higher education network. The entire power-nexus that drives the friendly-faced globalism of the CFR, RIIA, Trilateral Commission, Bilderberg, IMF, World Bank, WWF, Greenpeace etc. is a continuation of the British empire, ostensibly under US leadership, but essentially continuous. Eric Ross’ The Malthus Factor (http://www.thecornerhouse.org.uk/resource/malthus-factor), details the British empire’s 200yr pursuit of global population reduction, of which eugenics is just one episode. These people are as bad as, or worse than the Nazis (whose ‘miraculous’ emergence from a crippled German economy occurred under direct US-UK supervision – german politics in the 20’s was no more independent than Iraqi or Afghani politics is now), and they’re running the world more comprehensively than ever.

  5. Thank you for posting the truth about medicine in the grand old USA. I have heard it before but great to see it in writing. Too bad more people don’t want to know the truth. Maybe someday they will and we can get back to basics with real, holistic medicine before we are all dead!

    1. They will learn soon enough. You now more likely to die in hospital from a super bug acquired in Hospital than the ailment you were originally admitted for. There is a lot of quack stuff out there but there are two that really work. Read Herbal anti-biotics buy S Buhner and research Ayurvedic medicine. (About 5000 years old and going strong)

  6. Excellent article but just scratching the surface. If you really want to find out how deep this rabbit hole goes (and it’s almost bottomless) research 19th Century Mesmerism (NOT hypnotism!) . Best place to do this is 19th century books on archive.org. Authors to look for are William Gregory (Prof of Chemistry), Teste, Du Potet, AP Sinnett, Gee, Harriet Martineau, etc.etc. etc. It wasn’t only Herbalism that was killed off at the turn of the last century. You could argue that something far more important was assigned to the Capitalist trash heap in the name of the almighty buck.

  7. I’m looking for a documentary that speaks to this. I heard there is one about the big families getting together to push drugs on the public. My friend said she saw it on YouTube, but it’s been taken down.
